You’ll serve as a crucial member of highly collaborative district teams, supporting cognitive evaluations for students ages 0-21 across several school sites.
Responsibilities include:
- Completing cognitive and developmental evaluations for students as part of the assessment team
- Conducting Child Find evaluations at North Star Elementary and other designated district locations
- Managing a full caseload with primary responsibility for psychological assessments
- Collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to support individualized education planning
- Serving on either a standard assessment team or bilingual evaluation team (openings available for bilingual psychologists or Early Childhood Special Education teachers)
- Maintaining meticulous and timely documentation and adhering to district reporting procedures
- Communicating evaluation findings clearly and compassionately to stakeholders
- Participating in district-level assessment activities as needed
Prerequisites/desired skills:
- Current Colorado Department of Education Special Service License with School Psychologist Endorsement (Ages 0-21)
- Experience or endorsement in conducting cognitive and bilingual evaluations preferred
- Capacity to work effectively in fully in-person roles
- Ability to efficiently complete district contractor documentation prior to assignment start
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Dedication to equitable, strengths-based assessment and support for diverse learners
