Desired background and qualifications:
- Valid Colorado Department of Education Special Service License (SSL) with School Psychologist endorsement for ages 0–21
- Experience with school-based psychoeducational and cognitive assessments
- Familiarity with Child Find processes preferred
- Bilingual ability highly desirable for positions conducting evaluations in multiple languages
- Previous work as part of an assessment/evaluation team a plus
- Ability to fill out and return district-specific contractor packet prior to assignment commencement
- Commitment to in-person engagement—no remote or hybrid options available
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting psychological/cognitive assessments at the district level, supporting several schools per assignment
- Completing Child Find evaluations at designated elementary school locations
- Providing evaluation services as part of a collaborative, supportive team
- Delivering clear, comprehensive reports and participating in multidisciplinary meetings
- Traveling to various evaluation locations as needed
- Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards within the field
