School Psychologist in Valparaiso, IN

Key Qualifications:
- Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working within school settings strongly preferred
- Strong assessment, report writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, administrators, families, and outside agencies
- Excellent communication, counseling, and organizational abilities
- Flexibility to respond to changing caseloads and student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual student assessments to assist in identifying academic, behavioral, and social-emotional strengths and challenges
- Collaborate on the development, implementation, and monitoring of individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Serve as a resource for teachers and families, offering strategies and support for student success
- Lead or participate in multidisciplinary team meetings for data-based decision-making
- Provide direct or consultative mental health and behavioral interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Travel between assigned school sites within the county as required
