Middle School Elementary School Psychologist | West Monroe, Louisiana

Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in School Psychology or closely related field
- Current school psychologist license issued by the state of Louisiana
- Demonstrated experience working at the elementary, middle, or high school level
- Strong understanding of assessment tools, IEP development, and special education regulations
- Excellent communication, consultation, and crisis intervention skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage a varied caseload
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for students referred for special education services
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and indirect counseling and intervention services to students
- Provide consultation and resources to teachers, administrators, and families to support academic and behavioral success
- Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) and problem-solving teams
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
