School Psychologist - Stamford, CT

You’ll contribute your expertise across two key areas: spending three days per week onsite supporting students, faculty, and families directly, and two days per week focused on conducting thorough student evaluations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist in the state of Connecticut
- Background in delivering school-based psychological services
- Experience with student assessments, counseling, and interventions
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and educators
- Knowledge of current special education laws and best practices
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect support to students and staff, three days each week at the school site
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students, two days per week, including cognitive, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents regarding student progress and support strategies
- Participate in evaluation meetings, intervention planning, and crisis response as needed
This position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, with your contract running ASAP through June 22, 2026. It’s an ideal setting for professionals looking for long-term stability combined with collaboration and meaningful daily impact.
