- Knowledge of pre-referral processes and conducting comprehensive evaluations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
- Experience with elementary school-aged students preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to students through behavioral assessments and intervention planning
- Consult and coach staff in best practices for behavior management in classrooms and other school settings
- Lead the development, monitoring, and revision of behavior intervention plans, ensuring alignment with student needs and goals
- Conduct pre-referral and evaluation activities as part of the special education process
- Document and communicate findings, progress, and recommendations to multidisciplinary teams
- Serve students across two elementary sites, ensuring consistency and continuity of support
