Key Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification (state credential required)
- Previous experience in educational settings preferred
- Strong background in administering and interpreting cognitive assessments
- Ability to work independently across multiple building assignments
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive cognitive evaluations for students, with referrals and caseload determined by building assignments
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to interpret results and support eligibility for services
- Prepare clear, detailed documentation and assessment reports
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to develop effective educational strategies
- Maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines in all assessment procedures
- No direct counseling—focus remains on cognitive testing
