Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Current Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB) Tier 3 or Tier 4 license in School Psychology (required)
- Previous experience working with school-age children preferred
- Effective communication, consultation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to support diverse student populations and adapt to multiple school sites
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students’ learning, behavior, and emotional needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Counsel students individually and in small groups to support emotional wellbeing
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding strategies for academic and behavioral success
- Deliver crisis intervention and support during acute situations
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation consistent with district and legal standards
- Participate actively in school meetings, staff development, and ongoing training
