Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Current and active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) licensure as a School Psychologist is required
- School-based experience is strongly preferred
- Previous work in itinerant roles and/or with diverse student populations is highly valued
- Bilingual in Spanish is a significant asset
- Strong communication, assessment, and consultation skills
- Comfortable adapting to varying school sites within a district
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to identify students’ academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement intervention strategies
- Participate in Multi-Tiered Systems of Support and special education evaluation processes
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and support services to students as appropriate
- Maintain detailed and confidential records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Support the district’s commitment to inclusive and culturally responsive practices
