School Psychologist in Parker, CO
Seeking a dedicated professional to provide part-time school psychological support across two elementary settings. This contract position is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting elementary students and collaborating with thoughtful educational teams.
Located a short drive from both Parker and Franktown, this role requires presence at Parker Elementary and Franktown Elementary, with eight hours (one full day) per week at each campus. You’ll provide expertise in special education assessment and consultation, playing a vital role in student evaluation processes and supporting positive educational outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist credential (state certification or eligibility required)
- Previous experience in K-12 or elementary school settings preferred
- Solid background in administering, scoring, and interpreting psychoeducational assessments
- Familiarity with special education processes, legal requirements, and best practices
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments for special education evaluations and re-evaluations
- Develop thorough and compliant reports, including recommendations for instructional or behavioral interventions
- Participate in eligibility meetings, IEP teams, and consultations with staff and parents
- Offer crisis intervention and/or counseling support as needed within the school communities
- Support school teams in implementing evidence-based interventions and instructional planning
