You'll split your expertise between two welcoming elementary schools, providing critical psychological services one day per week at each location. Your main focus will be on conducting special education assessments and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure students receive the support they deserve.
What We’re Seeking:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or license (state requirements apply)
- Experience with K-5 student populations is a plus
- Strong assessment, evaluation, and report-writing skills
- Positive approach toward teamwork and communication
- Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities across multiple sites
Your Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive special education assessments for students referred for evaluation
- Consult with teachers, parents, and staff to interpret assessment data and recommend intervention strategies
- Participate in Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) and Individual Education Plan (IEP) meetings
- Provide guidance on behavior management and support healthy emotional development
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and district policies
