Key Qualifications:
- Must hold a Professional Special Services License issued by the Colorado Department of Education
- Strong background in school psychology within elementary school settings
- Willingness and ability to be onsite throughout the assignment
- For travelers: License application with Colorado Department of Education must be in progress; readiness to arrange housing and travel
- Exceptional interview and communication skills, adept at clearly articulating experience and areas of expertise
- A lively, energetic attitude and positive approach to engaging with students and staff
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological services to a diverse caseload of approximately 40 students
- Conduct assessments, develop intervention strategies, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and related service providers to support student educational and social-emotional needs
- Contribute to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and assist in their implementation and evaluation
- Foster a welcoming, supportive environment that encourages students’ growth and resilience
