Key Qualifications:
- Current Colorado ‘Professional Special Services License’ through the Department of Education (or you’ve initiated the application process as a traveler)
- Strong background in school psychology with previous experience in elementary settings preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the confidence to discuss your professional contributions in detail
- Positive energy, resilience, and a collaborative spirit
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support and interventions to students, addressing academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Conduct assessments, interpret data, and participate in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop strategies for student success
- Help foster a welcoming, supportive climate for students with diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Maintain thorough records and comply with all local, state, and federal guidelines
