Meridian Academy serves students in grades 6-12 with significant social, emotional, and behavioral needs. This is a unique chance to engage with a focused caseload, collaborating closely with experienced teams dedicated to student success. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- CO DOE SSP (Special Service Provider) License with School Psychologist or School Social Worker endorsements (required)
- CDE authorization as a School Psychologist or School Social Worker
- Demonstrated expertise with middle and high school students with severe behavior challenges (facility placements, day treatment, etc.)
- Background check and fingerprint clearance required
Responsibilities:
- Deliver mental health services for students with high support needs per IEPs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, facilitate IEP meetings, and develop individualized plans
- Collaborate with program staff to support students’ social-emotional and behavioral growth
- Serve a focused caseload (currently 23, max 30 students)
