An exciting opportunity awaits a skilled School Psychologist interested in making a meaningful impact across a thriving district for the 2026/2027 school year. Working on a full-time, contract basis, you’ll serve multiple educational sites, supporting students, families, and staff through comprehensive psychoeducational services.

In this pivotal role, you’ll conduct evaluations, help to shape intervention strategies, and ensure students achieve their full potential. Your expertise will contribute to eligibility decisions, IEP development, and collaborative solutions to behavioral and academic challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to guide interventions and supports
  • Determine special education eligibility, provide clear interpretive recommendations, and assist in IEP development
  • Serve as a trusted member of Multidisciplinary Teams, facilitating communication across teachers, administrators, and families
  • Support the design and implementation of behavioral intervention and crisis response plans
  • Consult with staff, families, and outside agencies to coordinate and enhance student services
  • Offer individual guidance and training to support students’ learning and emotional needs
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal education regulations
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and district meetings, contributing to a collaborative learning culture

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (Master's, Ed.S., or Doctorate) in School Psychology
  • Valid Nebraska Special Services Certificate or eligibility to obtain
  • Nebraska School Psychology Endorsement or reciprocity eligibility
  • Solid understanding of IDEA, special education eligibility, and IEP processes
  • Demonstrated experience with psychoeducational evaluations and tailored report writing
  • Outstanding communication skills and a collaborative approach in team settings
