What you’ll bring:
- Master’s, Educational Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Valid Nebraska Special Services Certificate, or eligibility to obtain credentialing
- Current or reciprocal Nebraska School Psychology Endorsement
- Deep knowledge of IDEA, special education eligibility, and IEP development
- Demonstrated experience administering psychoeducational assessments and composing professional reports
- Strong communication skills—verbal and written
- A collaborative spirit to work closely with multidisciplinary teams, families, and staff
Key responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to inform student support strategies
- Guide special education eligibility decisions and actively contribute to IEP meetings
- Provide consultation, training, and direct support to students, families, teachers, and staff
- Assist with behavioral intervention planning and academic program development
- Serve as a resource for learning styles, behavioral challenges, and social-emotional concerns
- Collaborate with community agencies, medical professionals, and parent groups as needed
- Help establish and implement crisis intervention programs district-wide
- Remain current with professional development and compliance standards
