Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to support student learning and growth
- Determine special education eligibility and provide data-driven recommendations
- Collaborate as an active member of multidisciplinary and IEP teams
- Interpret assessment results, contribute to IEP development, and guide targeted intervention plans
- Consult regularly with teachers, parents, and administrators concerning academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Provide training, guidance, and resources to staff and families
- Collaborate with external agencies and medical providers to coordinate supports
- Support the development and implementation of behavioral intervention and crisis programs across school sites
- Ensure compliance with both state and federal special education mandates
- Attend district meetings, participate in professional development, and fulfill other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s, Educational Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Valid or eligible Nebraska Special Services Certificate and School Psychology Endorsement
- Thorough knowledge of IDEA, eligibility criteria, and IEP processes
- Proven experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and generating clear, effective reports
- Strong collaborative skills working with diverse teams, students, and families
- Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking abilities
