Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or closely related field
- Valid and current state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience working within a school setting preferred
- Familiarity with Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
- Demonstrated ability to conduct psychoeducational assessments, write comprehensive reports, and interpret results for IEP/504 teams
- Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities
- Flexible and adaptable to changing school environments and needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and educational assessments for students referred for services
- Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Develop and recommend evidence-based interventions and supports for academic, social, and behavioral growth
- Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed
- Consult with teachers, parents, and staff to create supportive strategies and accommodations
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
