This role requires a commitment of 16 hours per week (.4FTE), with hours scheduled from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM at the West Education Center. The second opening is a maternity leave coverage role, beginning October 5 and running up to 12 weeks (excluding winter break). This position is full-time (40 hours weekly) and provides flexibility in scheduling.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist credentials and in good standing from previous assignments (if already credentialed)
- Proven, successful school-based experience required
- Reliable transportation to and from the work site
- Ability to complete comprehensive agency onboarding and district-level background check
- Comfortable adhering to the school’s schedule and assignment length
- Adaptable, collaborative, and professional demeanor
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive student evaluations and assessments
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective support plans
- Provide individual and group counseling and crisis interventions
- Support the creation of safe, nurturing learning environments
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and legal requirements
