Embark on a dynamic, on-site contract opportunity supporting students in the Virginia Beach area as a School Psychologist. This full-time role runs from August 31, 2026, through June 15, 2027. Qualifications & Licensure:
- Active Virginia Department of Education (VA DOE) license
- Valid Psychologist License for the state of Virginia
- Experience in school-based psychological services preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
- Comfortable adapting to the changing needs of a school environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological assessments, intervention, and counseling for students (age group and caseload to be determined)
- Partner with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized student support plans
- Support Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) initiatives within assigned schools
- Facilitate crisis intervention and offer expertise in behavioral management and emotional development
- Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in Student Assistance Teams and case conferences
