What we’re looking for:
- Current, active Virginia Department of Education licensure as a School Psychologist
- Valid Psychologist license in the state of Virginia
- Background in K-12 school psychological services, with strong assessment, intervention, and collaboration skills
- Experience in educational settings strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and caseloads
- Commitment to remaining on-site (not open to virtual or hybrid arrangements)
What you’ll do:
- Provide comprehensive psychological services, including assessments, interventions, and consultation for students across various schools (number of school assignments and specific age groups to be determined)
- Work collaboratively with special education teams, teachers, and families to develop student-centered interventions and support plans
- Engage in data-driven evaluations and crisis intervention as needed
- Facilitate communication among all stakeholders to ensure student success and well-being
