A full-time, on-site position is available for a dedicated school psychologist eager to contribute to a welcoming school community. This role focuses on supporting students’ well-being and fostering a positive learning environment, working closely with educators and families.
Key Details:
- Assignment runs from August 31, 2026, through June 15, 2027
- Full-time, 35 hours per week (Monday through Friday)
- Number of school sites and specific caseload to be determined; assignments will cover a variety of age groups
- This is an on-site position—please note that virtual or hybrid arrangements are not available
Qualifications & Experience:
- Must have active Virginia Department of Education (VA DOE) licensure
- Possess an active Psychology license
- Previous experience in school settings or with school-aged children strongly preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to develop interventions that promote student success
- Provide counseling and guidance to students, supporting their academic, emotional, and social growth
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and eligibility assessments
- Serve as a key resource for best practices in student mental health and behavioral support
