Step into a meaningful opportunity supporting elementary students as a part-time School Psychologist. Expert insight is needed to bolster student success across two welcoming school communities—dedicating one day each week at Parker Elementary and another at Franktown Elementary. Your ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver consultative support will play a pivotal role in fostering effective learning environments.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification/license recognized in Colorado
  • Master’s degree or above in School Psychology or a closely related field
  • Demonstrated experience with special education evaluation, assessment, and related documentation
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with IEP development and best practices in special education
  • Flexibility and reliable travel for work across two elementary sites
  • Commitment to ethical standards and cultural sensitivity

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough psychological and academic assessments for students referred for special education services
  • Interpret evaluation results and participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop, monitor, and review IEPs
  • Recommend strategies and supports to facilitate student learning and address behavioral or emotional needs
  • Contribute to a positive school climate by providing consultation and intervention support as needed
  • Ensure all district, state, and federal compliance in reporting and documentation
