Key Qualifications:
- Valid VA Department of Education licensure
- Active psychology license
- Experience working in K-12 educational environments preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Committed to providing in-person services (no remote or hybrid work options available)
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Administering and interpreting psychoeducational evaluations
- Participating in eligibility, Individualized Education Program (IEP), and student support team meetings
- Designing and implementing interventions that enhance student learning and behavior
- Supporting crisis intervention and response initiatives
- Consulting with teachers and parents to foster healthy and supportive learning environments
- Maintaining accurate reports and documentation in compliance with district policies
