Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations for students.
- Complete assessments necessary for special education eligibility determinations.
- Analyze, interpret, and clearly communicate assessment results through written reports.
- Participate actively in eligibility, IEP, and parent meetings, offering valuable insights and recommendations.
- Foster effective collaboration with teachers, special education professionals, and school administrators.
- Contribute to behavior intervention planning and deliver student-centered services.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all required documentation in accordance with established policies and regulations.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology.
- Current, valid Virginia School Psychologist license or credential.
- Previous experience within a school environment is highly valued.
- Strong background in conducting evaluations, participating in IEPs, and leading eligibility meetings.
- Exceptional skills in assessment, report writing, and teamwork.
