Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting comprehensive evaluations and developing individualized support plans
- Skilled in both individual and group counseling at the elementary level
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Knowledge of IEP development and the special education process
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
Role Responsibilities:
- Perform psychological assessments and interpret results to inform educational planning
- Lead individual and small group counseling sessions tailored to student needs
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators on best practices for supporting student success
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and intervention meetings as a skilled advocate for students
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school policy and state regulations
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
- Promote social-emotional learning within the classroom setting
