Key Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification
- Master’s degree in School Psychology or related field
- Previous experience working in school settings preferred
- Familiarity with assessment tools and special education processes
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and consultation skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver psychological and educational assessments for elementary, middle, and high school students
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, including IEP development and student support planning
- Offer individual and group counseling to address a range of academic, behavioral, and emotional concerns
- Provide consultation and resources to teachers, staff, and families for supporting student learning and mental health
- Collaborate with other professionals to develop intervention strategies tailored to student needs
- Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
This position starts July 7th and includes a 192-school-day contract, ensuring comprehensive involvement throughout the academic year at Florence Elementary, Santan Middle, and Santan High School.
