Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid state certification as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
- Experience working within school settings preferred
- Proficiency in assessments, intervention strategies, and case management
- Strong collaboration skills to work with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations
- Provide direct counseling and interventions to students individually and in groups
- Participate in development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and attend related meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to design effective support and intervention plans
- Offer crisis intervention and preventive mental health support as needed
- Maintain clear documentation and timely reports in accordance with federal, state, and district guidelines
