Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a school psychologist
- Experience providing psychological services in school settings
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and intervention strategies
- Ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations and interpret results
- Proficient in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and interpret test results to identify student needs
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention to students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop strategies that promote student success
- Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing expertise in behavioral and academic interventions
- Support the development and implementation of behavior management plans
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and legal standards
