Key Qualifications:
- Hold active certification as a School Psychologist in the state of Michigan
- Licensed as a School Psychologist in Michigan
- Direct, on-site experience supporting Secondary (middle and high school) students
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families in a diverse school setting
- Strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs using standardized tools
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Consult with educators and families regarding effective strategies to enhance student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and document evaluations in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Provide crisis intervention and ongoing counseling as needed
- Advocate for students’ needs within a supportive multidisciplinary team
