This full-time, contract role spans the entire 2026-2027 school year, offering 35-40 hours weekly and the flexibility to consider hybrid schedules for candidates able to be onsite at least three days per week. The position focuses on supporting a high school caseload with moderate to severe disabilities, allowing professionals to apply their expertise while fostering growth and progress among students.
Ideal candidates will bring the following qualifications and skills:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in School Psychology
- Active Michigan state licensure as a School Psychologist
- Background in working with students who have moderate to severe disabilities a plus
- Prior experience in a school environment is preferred but not mandatory
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
Primary responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
- Collaborating with teachers, families, and related service providers to develop and implement effective interventions
- Participating in IEP meetings and supporting the creation of individualized education plans
- Providing consultative support and crisis response services as needed
- Keeping accurate records and documenting student progress
