Key Qualifications:
- Current or eligibility to obtain a Michigan (MI) School Psychologist license before the next school year
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology
- Previous experience in K-12 educational settings, or enthusiasm to collaborate with diverse student populations
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and counseling techniques
- Commitment to ethical best practices in special education and student support services
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret findings to develop actionable recommendations
- Implement evidence-based interventions and provide counseling for students with academic, behavioral, or emotional needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and behavioral plans
- Maintain thorough documentation and comply with all school and district regulations
- Serve as a trusted resource for crisis intervention, conflict mediation, and student advocacy
