Step into a rewarding contract position serving an elementary school community beginning August 26, 2024, through June 10, 2025. In this essential role, you’ll support an engaged population of approximately 380 students each day from 8:15 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., Monday through Friday, aligning with the school’s academic calendar.

Bring your expertise as a School Psychologist to collaborate closely with a dedicated team. Take the lead in all initial evaluations and re-evaluations for special education services, and play a pivotal role in reviewing data for students within the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS). You’ll be counted on to provide crisis intervention and to help guide procedures, but will not be responsible for holding therapy minutes or sessions as part of IEP requirements.

Your work will also extend to supporting the wider district with initial and reevaluations for students in parochial environments, following the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Student Services. Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist credential.
  • Prior experience in an elementary school setting preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of special education evaluation protocols and MTSS frameworks.

  • Experience in crisis intervention and supporting students’ mental health.
  • Ability to manage caseloads and administrative responsibilities in a school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all initial and re-evaluations for special education eligibility.
  • Participate in data reviews and intervention planning for the MTSS process.
  • Provide on-site support for students in crisis.
  • Collaborate with district teams on parochial student evaluations.
  • Maintain effective communication with educators, administration, and families.
