You'll work onsite, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM, engaging with a manageable caseload of approximately 30 students.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current and active School Psychologist license for the state of Illinois
- Prior experience working with high school student populations is preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and families
- Commitment to providing onsite support and participating in school-based meetings
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and behavioral assessments
- Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement intervention strategies
- Provide direct support, counseling, and crisis intervention to students
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of student plans
- Offer consultation to teachers, staff, and families regarding student needs
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
