Primary Qualifications:
- Valid and active Illinois School Psychologist license (required)
- Previous experience working with high school student populations preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and stakeholders
- Commitment to in-person/onsite support for students and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations, including cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments
- Provide direct and indirect counseling services to students as needed
- Develop and participate in the creation and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Consult with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams regarding student needs and support strategies
- Promote positive behavioral interventions and contribute to the development of a supportive school climate
- Maintain documentation in accordance with state and school policies
