Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification and licensure as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
- Experience conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
- Knowledge of Response to Intervention (RTI), Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), and Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA)
- Familiarity with IEP development and participation in eligibility determinations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret psychological and educational assessments for referred students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and social-emotional well-being
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing data-driven recommendations
- Develop and implement intervention strategies to address behavioral and emotional needs
- Offer crisis intervention and counseling as needed
- Help foster a safe, inclusive learning environment
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation compliant with state and federal guidelines
