School Psychologist in Saint Charles, IL
Make a real difference in the lives of high school students by supporting their emotional, academic, and behavioral success in an engaging school environment. We’re seeking a dedicated, onsite School Psychologist to partner with high schoolers, faculty, and families throughout the academic year.
This contract opportunity runs from August 10, 2026, through May 14, 2027, and follows school-day hours from 7:30AM to 3:00PM. The position serves a caseload of approximately 30 high school students, enabling you to deliver personalized and impactful services within a close-knit setting.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Current and valid Illinois School Psychologist licensure (required)
- Previous experience working with high school students is preferred
- Ability to conduct assessments, develop interventions, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment
- Must be available to work onsite for the duration of the contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct psychological services and counseling to students
- Conduct assessments to identify academic, social, and emotional needs
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents on individualized education plans
- Contribute to multi-disciplinary team meetings and provide professional recommendations
- Support positive behavioral interventions and mental health initiatives
- Maintain accurate student records and required documentation in compliance with school protocols
