Exciting contract opportunities are available for experienced School Psychologists seeking a full-time, onsite role in the Denver area for the 2026-2027 academic year. This assignment offers a diverse caseload, working with students from early childhood through high school, providing essential mental health and assessment services within a supportive school environment. Assignments and age groups are based on availability and are matched on a first-come, first-served basis.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s, Specialist’s, or Doctorate degree in School Psychology
- Active CDE Special Service Provider License endorsement (School Psychology) required
- Prior experience as a School Psychologist in a school setting
- Strong student assessment, crisis intervention, and counseling skills
- Effective communicator with ability to collaborate across teams and work with families, teachers, and community partners
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain professionalism during crisis situations
- Strong computer proficiency and up-to-date professional knowledge in the field
- Willingness to complete background check and fingerprinting as part of district credentialing
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct group and individual counseling to special education students in accordance with IEP goals
- Develop and implement interventions to address academic, social-emotional, and behavioral needs
- Lead mental health initiatives and provide psychoeducation for staff, students, and families
- Conduct suicide risk and threat assessments; participate in crisis management and safety planning
- Complete cognitive, behavioral, and adaptive skill assessments; write evaluation reports and develop IEP goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, MTSS teams, and behavioral health initiatives
- Provide community resource referrals and consultation for both general and special education students
- Maintain detailed service logs, documents, and progress monitoring records
