Working full-time at 35 hours per week, you’ll be a vital part of the school’s team, supporting all teacher and professional development days as well as parent-teacher conferences, with a typical calendar year totaling about 185 days.
Qualifications:
- At least one year of classroom experience required
- Active or in-progress Colorado Department of Education (CDE) School Psychologist license (must be able to provide documentation with resume)
- Experience in school-based assessments, counseling, and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Passion for supporting student success and fostering a positive school climate
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and academic assessments for students across grade levels
- Provide consultation and collaboration with teachers, families, and school teams to develop individualized education and intervention plans
- Deliver direct counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Support and participate in professional development activities and team meetings
- Maintain accurate student records and documentation in accordance with district and state requirements
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences and engage with families to support student outcomes
