Qualifications:
- Master’s, Specialist’s, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Active CDE Special Service Provider License endorsement in School Psychology
- Previous school-based experience is required
- Strong student assessment, communication, and crisis management skills
- Technologically savvy, adept with current computer applications
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and families from diverse backgrounds
- Able to manage multiple priorities and respond calmly in stressful situations
- Successful completion of district background check and fingerprinting
Responsibilities:
- Direct mental health services: individual/group counseling per IEPs, classroom interventions, documentation, and progress monitoring
- Conduct comprehensive cognitive, behavioral, and social/emotional assessments and write evaluation reports
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on MTSS, crisis management, and special education planning
- Lead and participate in a variety of meetings, including IEP, manifestation determination, and professional development
- Provide consultation, psychoeducation, and intervention strategies for students, staff, and families
- Respond to crisis situations, conduct threat assessments, and support safety planning
