Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current and valid LSSP license required
- Professional experience as a school psychologist
- Strong background in conducting assessments and writing detailed reports
- Solid grasp of elementary-level student development, learning, and social-emotional health
- Effective communication skills for engaging with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to remain organized and flexible in a dynamic, student-centered environment
Responsibilities:
- Administer assessments for referrals, re-evaluations, and eligibility determinations
- Interpret testing data, write reports, and share results with teams and families
- Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and collaborate on intervention planning
- Provide consultative support for teachers and staff regarding academic and behavioral concerns
- Maintain accurate, confidential records according to district and state guidelines
