Qualifications and Experience:
- Current LSSP (Licensed Specialist in School Psychology) license, required
- Experience working as a school psychologist, particularly with elementary students, preferred
- Proficiency in conducting a variety of psychoeducational assessments
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to ethical practices and continual professional growth
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for elementary-age students
- Interpret assessment results and deliver actionable recommendations for student support
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective strategies and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Participate in team meetings and contribute your expertise in special education eligibility and best practices
- Offer consultation, guidance, and crisis intervention as needed to support student well-being
- Maintain accurate, confidential documentation and adhere to state and federal guidelines
