Qualifications & Experience:
- State licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience conducting assessments, developing behavioral interventions, and providing counseling in school settings
- Strong communication skills for interacting with students, staff, and families
- Familiarity with IEP processes and legal requirements for special education
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to assess students’ learning, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct counseling and mental health support to students as needed
- Consult with teachers and parents, offering strategies and interventions to enhance student performance and wellbeing
- Participate in crisis intervention and planning, when necessary
- Maintain accurate documentation and confidential student records in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
