Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state certification or license as a School Psychologist
- Experience performing psychoeducational assessments and participating on multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Commitment to culturally responsive practices
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for teachers and families
- Develop and implement intervention strategies to support student learning and behavior
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, administrators, and families to support students’ educational and mental health needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to 504 and special education plans
- Provide crisis intervention and short-term counseling as needed
- Maintain accurate, confidential student records in compliance with regulations
- Deliver professional development and guidance to school staff on a range of student wellness topics
