Qualifications & Experience:
- Current and valid state School Psychologist licensure
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Previous experience working within K-12 school environments
- Strong understanding of special education processes and IEP development
- Proficient in assessing academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Solid communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to foster positive relationships and build trust within a diverse community
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional evaluations
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support students
- Recommend evidence-based interventions and strategies
- Assist with Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and documentation
- Consult with educational staff on effective practices for diverse learners
- Participate in prevention, crisis intervention, and mental health initiatives
- Support a positive learning environment and contribute to school-wide programming
