Qualifications:
- Master's or specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
- State licensure or eligibility for school psychologist certification
- Experience with psychological evaluations, IEP development, and crisis intervention in educational settings
- Strong understanding of special education laws and procedures
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students referred for academic, social, emotional, or behavioral concerns
- Contribute as a member of a multidisciplinary team to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and 504 Plans
- Provide both direct and consultative psychological services to students, staff, and families
- Offer crisis intervention and support to students in emotional or behavioral distress
- Analyze assessment data, write reports, and present findings to parents and educational staff
- Participate actively in problem-solving, Response to Intervention (RTI), and pre-referral processes
- Facilitate staff trainings and parent workshops on topics related to child development and mental health
