Key Qualifications:
- Active LA DOE School Psychology certification (required)
- Experience with psychoeducational evaluations, IDEA compliance, and special education eligibility
- Strong ability to interpret assessment data and write thorough evaluation reports
- Excellent communication skills to present results to students, parents, and school teams
- Collaborative spirit, adept at working alongside educators, diagnosticians, and related service providers
- Organizational skills for maintaining case records, timelines, and program accountability
- Comfort working across several school buildings with a diverse PK-12 caseload

Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ educational and behavioral needs
- Provide written reports, referrals, and recommendations in coordination with educational teams
- Serve as a liaison to families, offering guidance and information about resources
- Consult with teachers, principals, and other staff to implement interventions and strategies
- Maintain accurate reports and documentation for compliance and continuity
- Take part in professional development and training initiatives
- Articulate assessment procedures and findings to a variety of stakeholders
- Engage in planning and implementing individualized programs for students
