Key Qualifications:
- Valid state certification as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
- Previous experience in K-12 settings preferred
- Strong assessment, consultation, and counseling skills
- Ability to adapt in diverse and dynamic school environments
- Solid understanding of IDEA and Section 504 compliance
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to assess students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions and supports
- Participate in IEP meetings, MDTs, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide individual and group counseling to students as needed
- Consult with teachers, families, and staff to promote positive student outcomes
- Support crisis intervention and prevention initiatives
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and legal requirements
