Key Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification (or eligibility) in Maryland
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Experience with K-12 populations, preferably in both elementary and secondary settings
- Strong knowledge of assessment procedures, multi-tiered systems of support, and behavioral interventions
- Effective communication and organizational abilities
- Commitment to equity, inclusion, and positive student outcomes
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver the full range of school psychology services, including evaluations, direct and consultative services, and participation in IEP/504 meetings
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement intervention strategies
- Conduct assessments and observations to inform decisions that support student learning and well-being
- Provide crisis intervention as needed and support school-wide initiatives promoting mental health
- Maintain thorough and legally-compliant documentation
