Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid Colorado School Psychologist license (CO Psych) required
- Previous experience in school-based psychological services preferred
- Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families in an educational setting
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, consultation, and counseling
- Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable managing a flexible caseload
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to address developmental, academic, and behavioral needs
- Conduct assessments, evaluate results, and participate in the special education eligibility process
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop and implement intervention strategies
- Support students in developing coping skills and resilience
- Complete necessary documentation and maintain accurate records per district standards
- Attend meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary support teams
Role Details:
- Contract position for the upcoming school year (CSY)
- Approximately 15-20 hours per week, with a flexible schedule to accommodate school needs
- Assigned to one or more school sites within the district
- Participation in either onsite or virtual casual interviews
- Quick decision-making process for efficient onboarding
